CURRY IS SWING

Daniel is a talented young performer with an impressive track record at the highest level. His journey began early, attending live music groups and open mic sessions, and as a finalist out of 400 participants in the North East's Soundwaves Music Festival Competition, he performed on the main stage at the O2 Academy in Newcastle.

In 2023, Daniel was again invited to perform at the Soundwaves Music Competition with a full band, but even without them, he continued to shine. He has been a finalist in the Pride of South Tyneside Young Performer of the Year competition twice, in 2019 and 2021, performing in front of large audiences.

​

Daniel has a strong passion for song writing, having written the lyrics for several original songs. One of his works, created with his guitar teacher, was even reviewed in NARC Magazine. He recently wrote two more songs and is now pursuing a degree in Music Production and Live Performance in Leeds, after achieving distinctions and merits in his music course at South Tyneside College.

He brings a fresh and modern twist to classic swing music, performing timeless hits in the style of legends like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Michael Bublé. Daniel is available for private bookings and events and has been praised by prominent figures such as Ray Spencer of the Customs House and the Mayor and Mayoress of South Tyneside.
